Broadreach Communications - Internet

Internet is the lifeblood of modern business telecommunications systems, and there are bandwidth options available to fit any size of business and any level of internet traffic.

BroadReach will work with you to ensure that you have the broadband services you need to provide fast, reliable service today, tomorrow, and five years from now.

You will be able to choose from the following services:

  • Ethernet: Businesses have long trusted Ethernet for its reliability and scalability up to 10Gbps. Ethernet is the choice for those businesses that want to connect information streams privately and cost-effectively – but who need more bandwidth than T1 lines provide.
  • Wireless/Cellular/4G: For businesses that need mobile, ultra-broadband Internet access, 4G wireless is the choice. Known for its ease and speed, 4G will support businesses that use IP telephony, cloud computing, video conferencing, and other mobile services. We will work with you to ensure that you have the necessary infrastructure to take advantage of high-performance wireless.
  • Cable/DSL: For new ventures just getting off the ground, a good cable connection may be all you need at your first office, capable of hosting data, phones, and video offerings. Cable also works great for smaller offices or as a backup to a dedicated connection.
  • T1: Offering 1.544 megabits per second, T1 has long been the standard for smaller businesses as well as remote offices for larger organizations that need reliable high-speed communications. But as bandwidth-heavy applications proliferate, it may not be enough for long.
  • DS3: Also called T3, Digital Signal 3 (DS3) broadband transmits at up to 45 megabits per second, equivalent to 28 T1 lines. For most medium-sized businesses, this is the standard for achieving global-scale distributed communications.
  • SONET: More commonly known as fiber optics, SONET (synchronous optical networking) communications offer significant dedicated bandwidth improvements over DS1/DS3 by abandoning copper wiring. Through dense wavelength-division multiplexing (DWDM), SONET can offer speeds up to 38.5 gigabits per second (OC-768) – enough for all but the largest of multinational firms.
