How did the company get its name? 

In business, a venture can be easily threatened by the force of the environment around it. BroadReach Communications takes that environment, the complex, ever-changing world of global telecommunications and transforms it into something more easily managed and navigated for businesses.  

Sailing gives us a proper metaphor for this: the most forceful and potentially harmful forces can be harnessed to one’s advantage – if the navigation is true. That’s where the name “BroadReach” came from in the first place: when the sailor navigates the correct course, the once dangerous winds come from behind at an angle and are turned into forward momentum that propels the boat clear ahead.
